It is created without a worry of what is acceptable. This is the main reason that this sector of arts appeals so much to me. I truly beleive that formal training would hamper my creativity. It would cause me to worry about whether everything has proper perspective, is properly proportioned, etc...      I paint about my experiences, emotions, and views of life in general. I have yet to find a book that can help me create visions of how my eyes see the world. Self taught art and outsider art is about creating what I see as interesting not what some jackass art critic thinks is interesting. I strongly urge everyone to support self taught art and outsider art as it is truly unique in comparison to conventional art.
